Photographing babies doesn't always go to plan! Despite mum organising the shoot around feed & sleep times, this little one (Ted) just wasn't happy.
We tried everything - peek-a-boo, sneezes, puppets. Mum had a go, big sister, Granny....nothing, just lots of crying.
Then, we put the hat on and.....
...sometimes, things just happen.
My job is to make sure I am ready when they do!

What a busy month of May!
The recession must have forgotten the photography industry, as I have never been so busy!
This month I have covered the most wide ranging of subjects ever. My list is
1. School class groups
2. Pre School Summer Portraits (outside)
3. Pre School Summer Groups
4. Emergency Pre School studio session - due to rain (good job the lights were in the car!)
5. Lots of home session for babies. Tiny babies & chunky babies.
6. Commercial work for Leisure company
7. Commercial work & consultancy for Audio Visual Company
8. Awards Ceremony in central London
9. Wedding
10. Dance School show photos
11. Filming for dance shows
And there is a week to go in May yet. No wonder I am up this late blogging! There is no time for anything during the day.
Long may in continue I say!
2 lessons learnt.
1. Always keep your lights in the car
2. Keep smiling. People love to work with happy people.

Outdoor Pre School Shoot
Fantastic weather for an outdoor pre school shoot today.
Today's parents demand much more modern images of their kids. Heading outside means the kids are much more relaxed and I have a massive choice of background locations & settings. I love it!

Look who I bumped into..
I was commissioned to photograph the PPS awards ceremony (Estate Agents) by the AV company who wanted me to capture all their lovely new kit in action. It was at The Grosvenor Hotel in Mayfair, London. Whilst I was there I ran in to a few faces.
...for those who don't know - the lady at the top is Katie Waisell from 2010 X Factor & the guy is Jamie Lester who went a long way in the 2010 series of The Apprentice on BBC
SO much to tell!
I have been SO busy! There is so much to tell!
I have been shooting summer portraits at Pre Schools
But when it rains, I have been popping the mini studio up & doing this....
Whatever the weather throws at me, I can cope! I can do without the lightening though....
more to follow....
